Learn about the Kaiser Permanente Community Health Coverage Program (CHCP)

A healthy future starts today

We believe that everyone deserves access to high-quality, affordable health care. CHCP may be an option for you.

What is CHCP?

CHCP provides health care coverage to low income individuals and families who don’t have access to other public or private health coverage.

When you are a CHCP member you receive:

  • Enrollment in a Kaiser Permanente Individuals and Families health plan
  • A Kaiser Permanente subsidy to help pay your monthly premiums and most out-of-pocket medical costs for most care at Kaiser Permanente facilities

Do you qualify for CHCP?

To qualify for CHCP, you must meet certain requirements. For instance, you must live in our service area, and have a certain income based on the Federal Poverty Level Guidelines.
