Learn about Your Child Health Program Benefits

The Child Health Program provides a subsidy to help pay your monthly premiums and most out-of-pocket medical costs. Children and teens 18 and under can get high-quality preventive and specialty care.

Members will be enrolled in the Kaiser Permanente Platinum 90 HMO plan.

  • You won’t pay a monthly premium.
  • There are low or no costs for most covered services at Kaiser Permanente facilities.

Once your child/children become Kaiser Permanente members, you’ll be able to:

  • Choose your doctor based on what’s important to you, from specialty to languages spoken.
  • Manage your or your child’s health anywhere — check most lab test results and order most prescription refills online or with our app. (1) (2) (3)
  • Email your doctor’s office with nonurgent questions, or schedule a phone appointment or video visit. (4)
  • Save time with many services under one roof, like X-rays and pharmacy. Learn more about the facilities in your area here.
